Botanic Garden & the National Orchid Garden

Botanic Garden

Botanic Garden is certainly not on the top of my attractions’ list. Nevertheless, it is worth going there to relax if few hours are left till your flight and you have already visited all other major attractions.

Botanic Garden is nothing else but a well maintained, large municipal park with a free admission, which can be found in most of the European capitals. It can be easily reached by metro.

The National Orchid Garden

The National Orchid Garden is located on the top hill of the Botanic Garden. Although the direction signs indicate the distance of 1,5 km from the main entrance, I believe it is max. 1 kilometer walking distance. Unique floral settings and the mixture of colors make the visit to the place very relaxing and enjoyable. The entrance fee is 5 SGD.
